3 Google Chrome Extensions for Web Developers

As a designer and a web developer, I am always looking for good extensions that can make my job easier. Here are some of the better options:

1. Screenshot
To take a snapshot of part of your screen at any moment, simply press the keyboard combination: command + shift + 4 . Then drag around the area you want to save, and let go! This takes a snapshot of the selected area of the screen, and saves it to the desktop.
2. Quit
To instantaneously quick an application, press the keyboard combination: command + w . You should try to save your work before attempting this.
3. Inverted Colors
To invert your entire screen's colors, press the keyboard combination: command + option + control + 8 . Do the same to change it back.

Have you ever hear a song playing that you really liked, but didn't know what it was called? Well, iPhone has an app for that, and Droid does. It's called Shazam, and can be downloaded free from the Appstore and the Android Marketplace. So now give me one good reason why not to get it...

It is amazing how many demands we bloggers make. Sometimes we want tag clouds, sometimes dropdown menus for our navigation, sometimes even dynamically changing posts with some scrolly-bouncy effect. My demand was for a way to link a WP post to a specific page or category. I found the method in the form of the Page Links To plugin by Mark Jaquith. After simply installing the plugin, I was able to specify exactly where I wanted my post to link to when the title was clicked. Pretty cool, huh?
